The Not-for-Profit Everyday Account is designed with the needs of not-for-profits, community groups and clubs in mind.

It’s a day-to-day transaction account that includes all the features and benefits of a regular account with $0 monthly service fees. It also has a tiered interest rate – which means the higher your balance, the higher your return.

You can open this account in your local Bendigo Bank branch or you can complete the relevant forms and mail them to our Customer Service and Engagement team.

You will need the 'Business Customers Account Opening Form' .

Each signatory, Beneficial owner/controller, and signing director/board member, will be required to present identification at their local Bendigo Bank branch, or alternatively provide an original certified copy of identification along with a completed 'Certified Identification Form' (authorised certifiers are listed on this form).

If any of these people are already a customer of Bendigo Bank, they just need to provide us with their account number to link their identification to.

We will also require business documentation, this will be dependent on the type of organisation.

For Incorporated & Unincorporated Associations:
Meeting minutes that state the following information:-
• The date of the meeting
• State the account/s to be opened with Community Sector Banking/Bendigo Bank
• State the full legal name of the intended signatories to the account/s
• State the signing instructions (how many to sign, for example 2 to sign)

For Incorporated Associations:
We will be required to complete an ASIC search. If the organisation isn’t registered with ASIC you will need to provide us with an original, certified copy or extract of the rules or constitution of the organisation.

For Trusts:
An original or Certified Copy of the Full Trust deed and latest original or certified copy of the Amendment to the Trust Deed (if applicable). We will also require identification for one at least one trustee.

For Companies:
No further business documentation required - we will complete a company search on your behalf.

Yes, this account offers cards and the cheque book facility.

This covers normal transactional fees on your account. It does not cover Bulk Payments, dishonour/rejection fees, EFT credit transfers, bank cheque withdrawal, periodical payments made by cheque and periodical payments to another institution. It also excludes non-Bendigo Bank ATMs here and all ATMs overseas, EFTPOS transactions overseas, bulk payments, international money transfers, and separate services such as bank cheques, periodical payments and transfers/deposits to other banks.
