Churchill Fellowships launching soon
20 Dec 18
Building on our commitment to strengthening sector, we have recently partnered with Churchill Trust to offer two new Churchill Fellowships in 2019 specifically aimed at supporting and strengthening leaders in the Australian not-for-profit sector.
The first Fellowship will support the development of leadership skills and people and culture programs so future challenges can be met across the not-for-profit sector.
The second Fellowship is open to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people to explore positive interactions and outcomes between Indigenous peoples, communities and the not-for-profit sector.
Open to leaders in the not-for-profit sector, recipients of the Fellowships will travel the world to observe leading practice and develop new networks before being provided the opportunity to apply the learnings in a local context that could benefit the sector in Australia.
It is hoped the knowledge the recipients bring back and share with the sector will help prepare and strengthen Australian not-for-profits for future success. This may include identifying issues facing current and future leaders, types of leaderships profiles and skills the sector should invest in and best practice examples of how other not-for-profits are preparing to address challenges that lie ahead for the sector.
Churchill Fellowship applications open on 1 February 2019 and more information can be found by visiting www.churchillfellowships.com.au
