Confirmed: our customers love us

Every day, our customers inspire us with the incredible work they do. So it’s pretty easy to see that working with not-for-profits isn’t just what we do – it’s the best part of our job!

But our recent Customer Satisfaction Survey results have shown us that the love isn’t all one way. More than 96% of our customers said they were either satisfied or very satisfied with the service we provide. And it doesn’t stop there with our products and internet banking services both rated extremely highly.

The real stars of the show though, were our team and the friendly staff at Bendigo Bank, described frequently by our customers as “always helpful” and providing “excellent service”.

“Because the service is great and they give back to the community. A staff member made a personal visit after an enquiry,” one customer said.

“It’s a very good service. Also we agree with the principles of Community Sector Banking and what it does for the community,” said another.

Our Head of Customer Service & Engagement, Merindi Belarski is thrilled with the results,

“These excellent results confirmed what we had been hearing anecdotally for a long time and really demonstrated the lengths our staff go to assist our customers,” Belarski said.

“Our results cement our position as the not-for-profit banking specialists – a banking service favoured above others for our tailored products and exceptional service.”

“We will continue to work hard to ensure our customers receive excellent service as they go about strengthening their communities,” Belarski concluded.

The research was independently conducted by IRIS Research in November 2015.
